Staff Accountant - Non-Profit

A non-profit organization located near Culver City is looking for a Staff Accountant on a long-term contract basis. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, helping manage federal, state, and county funding sources (grants), perform general ledger management, A/P, A/R, and account reconciliation. The Staff Accountant will also review expense budgets, monitor grant funding budgets, as well as assist with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is preferred. At least two years of non-profit accounting experience. Must have very good time management and communication skills. Strong MS Office knowledge is required. Financial Edge experience is a plus. Pay, $32 - 35/hr.
