Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to address individual client needs.

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions tailored to the unique context of substance use recovery and mental health challenges.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress against established treatment goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote successful outcomes.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care and support for clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies, using effective de-escalation techniques.

• Maintain detailed, confidential records of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Stay updated on best practices in mental health care and participate in ongoing professional development through training and workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily support clients within our detox facility, who are often navigating complex challenges related to substance use disorders, alongside varying mental health diagnoses. This may include individuals in acute withdrawal, those transitioning out of detox, or individuals needing long-term therapeutic support. You will play a vital part in fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for clients as they confront their barriers to recovery and emotional wellness.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• A valid state license to practice clinical social work (LCSW) in Texas is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
