Restaurant General Manager

Big Mike’s BBQ Smokehouse is looking for a strong, dependable General Manager to help lead one of our restaurant teams. We are a growing, high-volume BBQ restaurant built around great food, real hospitality, strong community ties, and a team culture that believes in doing things the right way. We are looking for a leader who can bring consistency, accountability, and positive energy to the restaurant every day. This is a true leadership position. The right person should be able to lead people, support daily operations, protect standards, solve problems, and help create an environment where both guests and employees feel valued. Compensation This position offers a salary range of $72,000–$82,000 per year , based on experience, leadership ability, and overall fit for the role. Responsibilities include leading and developing managers and team members, maintaining food and service standards, supporting scheduling and labor goals, managing guest experience, overseeing cleanliness and organization, helping control costs, supporting inventory systems, and making sure company policies and procedures are followed. This role works closely with ownership, leadership, and department managers to keep the restaurant moving in the right direction. The right candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and should know how to hold standards while still building trust with the team. Previous restaurant management experience is strongly preferred. High-volume restaurant experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, good judgment, a steady leadership style, and the ability to coach, train, and develop others.
