Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact with elementary-aged students by utilizing your expertise in speech-language pathology in a school-based setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for dynamic SLPs passionate about working with young learners and collaborating with a supportive educational team.

You’ll provide dedicated, individualized services to a caseload of approximately 40 elementary students, helping them reach communication milestones and succeed academically and socially. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a chance to see real progress throughout the school year.

Qualifications:

• Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas (TX SLP License)
• CCCs encouraged, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome
• School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Passion for working with elementary aged children

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, adapting methods to meet individual needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
• Maintain accurate records, data, and required documentation
• Support students’ academic and social development through specialized interventions

This full-time, five-day-per-week position comes with a manageable caseload, providing the balance needed for effective, hands-on therapy. Pay rates for this position range from $42 to $47 per hour, depending on experience.
