This position will be responsible for preparing machining parts from various materials with CNC controlled mills and lathes. This will be a straight 3rd shift position with some flexibility in start stop times./ph3Primary Responsibilities/h3ulliFabricate machine parts and weldments leveraging Mastercam Software/liliCut and prep. Various materials for Machining/liliMachine parts on manual mills and lathes as required/liliPrioritize work to meet customer deadlines/liliParticipate in design reviews with Machine Designers and peers in the shop/liliStrong focus on customer service/liliUnderstand safety rules and procedures to safely perform all tasks/liliKnow and practice respectful workplace behavior/liliSupport a culture of best practice on 5S and overall shop safety/li/ulh3Qualifications And Skills/h3pMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:/pulli2 - year technical degree in CNC Machining./lili3D CAD modeling software understanding/liliProficient at print reading and tolerance interpretation./liliMastercam software experience/liliStrong understanding of metrology and how it applies to machining./liliExcellent communication and customer service skills/liliStrong computer skills in required applications, Outlook, Word, Microsoft Teams Etc/li/ulpNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:/pulliMachine design experience/liliMachine build experience/li/ulh3Physical Requirements Summary/h3ulliMust be able to stand for 8 hours/liliMust be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs./liliSome heavy lifting required at low frequency.
