The Opportunity

Rex is seeking a Director of Capital Formation, High Net Worth to fund the next real estate cycle. With a new multi-year cycle underway and an active acquisition pipeline, this leader owns direct capital raising from high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth investors across Rex's private equity real estate platform, ensuring every deal is fully funded and on time. Capital raised and funded is the measure that matters most. This role is anchored by three core mandates. First, run capital formation as a true sales operation, owning every stage from lead to accredited verification to funded capital, with CRM discipline and forecasting precise enough to commit to deals with confidence. Second, build and lead a high-performing raising team as a player-coach, personally raising while recruiting, training, and developing talent from zero to producing, growing the winners and pruning the rest. Third, architect the Rex investor community through investor summits, leadership dinners, webinars, proactive reporting, and impact storytelling that turn investors into partners and ambassadors, driving reinvestment and referrals deal after deal. Throughout, this leader hunts new capital through outbound, events, and high-return channels, feeds market signal back to marketing, and keeps Rex well inside the lines on SEC and FINRA compliance, including Regulation D offerings and accredited investor verification. The ideal candidate has 7-10+ years raising capital directly from high-net-worth investors, with real numbers to prove it, and a track record of managing and training raisers. They bring process and CRM discipline, compliance rigor, and a polished, high-end presence in person and on LinkedIn, serving as the face of Rex to investors. A closer and a community builder in equal measure, they manage by the numbers, hire discerningly, act decisively, and think big: hundreds of millions in equity now, billions later, across real estate and beyond. Real estate experience strongly preferred; deep UHNW and family office relationships and exposure to other alternative investments are a plus. Capital is sacred, and investors are partners in the mission. This leader must fully embrace Rex's call to catalyze human flourishing through disciplined stewardship of investor capital. About the Role

Rex has the deals. This role makes sure they are funded. You will raise equity directly from HNW and UHNW individuals and family offices, closing every deal fully and on time, and build the team and investor community that make that raise repeatable at scale.

You will run capital formation like a sales operation: every stage tracked, from first touch through accredited verification to funded capital, with forecasting tight enough for leadership to commit to deals with confidence. As a player-coach, you will carry your own raise while hiring and developing raisers from zero to producing, coaching to the numbers and deciding fast who grows and who goes.

You will turn investors into partners and ambassadors through summits, leadership dinners, webinars, proactive reporting, and impact storytelling that drive reinvestment and referrals. You will hunt new capital, sharpen marketing with what you hear in the market, represent Rex with polish in person and on LinkedIn, and keep every raise squarely inside SEC, FINRA, and Regulation D requirements. The runway is hundreds of millions in equity now and billions later. Must be missionary to the bone.

Key Responsibilities

• Own direct capital raising from HNW, UHNW, and family office investors, fully funding every deal on time
• Carry a personal raise while leading the raising team as a player-coach
• Run the full funnel from lead to accredited verification to funded capital, with disciplined CRM hygiene and reliable forecastsHire, train, and develop raisers from zero to producing, managing by the numbers and pruning underperformers decisively
• Generate new capital through outbound, events, referrals, and the highest-return channels, doubling down on what converts
• Build the Rex investor community through summits, leadership dinners, webinars, proactive reporting, and impact storytelling
• Drive reinvestment and referral rates across the existing investor base
• Represent Rex as its face to investors, in person and on LinkedIn
• Feed market signal, objections, and channel results back to marketing
• Partner with acquisitions, asset management, finance, and investor relations to keep investors accurately informed
• Keep every raise compliant with SEC, FINRA, Regulation D, and accredited investor verification requirements, in partnership with legal
• Build the systems and infrastructure to scale from hundreds of millions to billions, across real estate and beyond

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7-10+ years raising capital directly from HNW and UHNW investors, with verifiable results in capital raised and funded
• Track record of recruiting, managing, and training capital raisers from zero to producing
• Real estate private equity or syndication experience strongly preferred
• Deep UHNW, family office, and wealth advisor relationships, and exposure to other alternative investments, a plus
• Sales-operations discipline across CRM, pipeline management, and forecasting
• Working command of SEC, FINRA, Regulation D, and accredited investor verification
• Experience building investor events and community programs that drive reinvestment and referrals
• Proficiency with platforms such as Juniper Square, InvestNext, SyndicationPro, Salesforce or HubSpot, and DocuSign
• Polished, high-end presence in person and on LinkedIn, with the ability to tell the investment and mission story with conviction
• A true hunter, not reliant on an inherited book, who manages by the numbers, hires discerningly, and acts decisively
• AI-fluent with tools such as Claude or ChatGPT, and built to operate at scale
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred
