Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech Therapist
Location: Richmond, VA
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 07:30 AM - 05:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Speech Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing evaluation and treatment for patients with various swallowing and speech language disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with multiple diagnoses related to swallowing and speech language.
- Conduct Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and other assessments.
- Collaborate with a team of rehabilitation professionals to develop and implement therapy plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathology License and Clinical Competence Certification (CCC).
- Experience working with an adult population in a medical or inpatient rehab setting.
- Neuro experience is preferred but not required.
