QA Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Chicago, IL or Iriving, TX (3 days onsite)

5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Test Automation.
Hands-on experience testing Databricks data platforms, pipelines, notebooks, or data processing workflows.
Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
Advanced SQL skills, including data validation, joins, aggregations, reconciliation, and database testing.
Experience performing functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Experience testing REST APIs and system-to-system integrations.
Proficiency with GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and code management.
Experience using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, defect lifecycle management, and Agile delivery.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
