Thanks for your commitment to Tyson Foods.Management Level: Class 4This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.Functions:To perform all work duties safely, as well as maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture.Receive training as required.Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.Tasks:Move the completed pallets to the wrapping area utilizing a powered pallet jack and position to be shipped.Move completed pallets to the Shipping staging area utilizing a powered pallet jack.Clean and haul inedible to inedible room; clean and apply denature to inedible product.Move trash to trash compactor and compact trash. Inform the Supervisor if compactor is not working or is full.Bring material to the lines as requested by the Production Supervisor, Machine Technician, or Lead Pack-Off Person.Remove any unused items and return them to the warehouse.Inform receiving operator of any discrepancies in quantities and locations.Maintain the Warehouse and Production areas in an organized manner.Pallet Jack certified or must be certified.Immediately inform supervisor of quality/safety issues.Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.Must be willing and able to lift and or move up to 50 poundsThe Team Member is frequently required to walk.The Team Member will be regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and extreme cold.The Team Member will work in an environment where the noise level is usually very loud.Requirements:You must not exceed more than 4 attendance points.You must not have received a written warning within the last 3 months.TM is not permitted to lateral bid for 6 months unless to a higher-level job.Will be under a 2-week qualification period if supervisor disqualifies TM, then TM will return back to previous position.TM has 2 weeks to notify HR from the date they physically start new position to disqualify themselves if so, they will return to previous position.TM understand if they do self-disqualify to not continue in the awarded position, they will not be allowed to bid for 6 months.1 year forklift experience preferred.Probationary team members must have completed 90 days before they can be considered.Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY - You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
