This onsite role, conveniently based near Garland, TX, runs from August 3rd, 2026 through May 27th, 2027, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek within a dedicated educational environment. You’ll be part of an itinerant team, focusing exclusively on evaluations—typically 3 to 4 per week—while the school’s counseling staff manage therapeutic services.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current, active School Psychologist license in the state of Texas is required
• Experience working with elementary school-age students strongly preferred
• Strong background in administering, scoring, and interpreting a variety of psychological and educational assessments
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage schedules and documentation across multiple campuses
• Familiarity with special education compliance and best practices for evaluation
• Outstanding communication abilities to collaborate with educators and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive, timely psychological and academic assessments of elementary students
• Prepare detailed reports and provide insights to multidisciplinary teams
• Present evaluative findings to staff and parents, offering clear, data-driven recommendations
• Travel as needed to assigned campuses within the district (itinerant role)
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
