Shift: Days | 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12s | 36 hours/week
Setting: Acute Care Hospital ED
Job Summary Seeking an experienced Travel ER Registered Nurse for a fast-paced acute care Emergency Department. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric populations. Candidate must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-acuity situations. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Develop and update individualized plans of care
- Administer medications and treatments safely following hospital protocols
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and interventions
- Provide emergency nursing care in high-acuity situations
- Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams using SBAR
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient flow within the ED
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and emergency response protocols
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning
- Respond appropriately to Rapid Response and Code situations
- Active California RN License
- Recent Emergency Room experience in an acute care setting
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- CPI Certification
