Key Responsibilities Build and/or oversee the foundational Medical Affairs operating model, including insights, medical information, scientific communication, and governance. Stand up a fully integrated medical information function. Implement scalable digital medical capabilities (content systems, CRM, medical information workflows) appropriate for a small, rapidly evolving organization. Develop core scientific messaging frameworks and ensure alignment across publications, congress activities, and medical content. Create compliant processes for MLR/PRC and cross‑functional review. Lead Medical Affairs operations, including SOP development, vendor management, and process optimization. Build and mentor a small, high‑impact team; manage external partners to extend internal capacity. Serve as a trusted advisor to the CMAO and executive team, contributing to portfolio strategy, launch planning, and organizational growth. Qualifications Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD) strongly preferred. 12+ years of Medical Affairs, scientific communications, or medical operations experience, ideally with small‑biotech exposure. Demonstrated ability to build Medical Affairs capabilities, systems, or processes from the ground up. Strong understanding of insights, medical information, analytics, digital medical tools, scientific communications, and MLR/PRC. Comfortable operating in a lean environment with shifting priorities and limited infrastructure. Excellent communication, cross‑functional leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Individual pay may vary based on multiple factors including education, geography, and other relevant factors.
