Finance Controller

The Finance Controller is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, managing budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting strategic decision-making. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies while driving financial efficiency and business performance. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting regulations. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management. Develop and maintain financial reporting dashboards and KPIs. Budgeting & Forecasting Lead the annual budgeting process. Prepare rolling forecasts and financial models. Monitor budget performance and investigate variances. Support business units with financial planning and analysis. Internal Controls & Compliance Establish and maintain effective internal control procedures. Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships. Implement financial policies and best practices. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. Manage banking relationships and financing arrangements. Oversee cash forecasting and optimize cash management strategies. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff. Establish performance objectives and development plans. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Business Partnership Support senior leadership with strategic financial analysis. Evaluate investments, acquisitions, and growth opportunities. Provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred. 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience. Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. Previous leadership or management experience preferred. Required Skills Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS). Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills. Advanced Excel and financial reporting tools proficiency.
