Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide physical therapy services in an educational setting near Topeka, KS. This role offers the chance to collaborate with other professionals and contribute expertise to a supportive, forward-focused district. The caseload consists of elementary and middle school students, and you will serve one to two school sites. Flexibility is key, as the district welcomes qualified candidates interested in providing services virtually (VOCO/PT).

Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with active credentials for school-based practice
• Experience with elementary and middle school populations preferred
• Confident providing both onsite and virtual physical therapy services
• Skilled in conducting evaluations and assessments virtually
• Strong collaboration skills and a proven team-player
• Excellent communication abilities for effective consultation and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students
• Conduct initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and write comprehensive progress reports
• Collaborate with other specialists, teachers, and families to develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Serve one to two school sites with a consistent, manageable caseload
• Engage in multidisciplinary team discussions to support student outcomes

This contract position offers 16-24 hours per week, providing a balanced workload and flexibility.
