Back-End Software Developer

Introduction Join our dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the back-end/server-side parts of applications. You will work with various languages and tools to create and maintain services either on-premises or in the cloud, ensuring high performance and reliability. Required Skills & Qualifications

- Proficiency in Java, with the ability to write clean, thread-safe, and object-oriented backend code using Java 11/17.
- Experience in developing and maintaining back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages such as Java and Python.
- Familiarity with database technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB for data storage and retrieval.
- Minimum of 6 years in IT with at least 4 years in development.
- Prior work experience at a client or in the client's industry.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with Spring Boot for building scalable, production-ready RESTful microservices.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP for deploying containerized applications and integrating messaging services.
- Engage with customers to understand their use-cases and requirements.
- Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user interface elements and with cross-functional teams like product owners, designers, and architects.
- Manage application deployment to the cloud or on-premises, health and performance monitoring, security hardening, and disaster recovery for deployed applications.
- Promote improvements in programming practices, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Support security practices to safeguard user data, including encryption and anonymization.
