The Opportunity We’re seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our growing tax practice. This role is ideal for a tax professional ready to take on greater ownership, managing engagements, mentoring staff, and building long-term client relationships, while continuing to grow technically and professionally. Why You’ll Love This Role Own client engagements from planning through delivery Mentor and develop junior team members Gain exposure to complex tax and accounting matters Participate in business development, networking, and firm growth initiatives Work in a collaborative environment with clear paths for advancement What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience in public accounting Strong technical foundation in tax and accounting Ability to manage multiple engagements, deadlines, and budgets Professional, confident communicator with clients and colleagues Proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, and accounting/tax software Key Responsibilities Prepare and review technically accurate work with minimal manager review Plan, schedule, and manage engagements to meet deadlines efficiently Supervise, train, and coach staff to ensure quality and timeliness Manage engagement logistics, including planning, budgeting, workpapers, and final deliverables Build strong client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact Identify opportunities for additional services and support business development efforts Participate in networking and community involvement activities Adhere to firm policies, procedures, and professional standards Perform additional duties as needed to support team and firm goals Why Roth&Co At Roth&Co, growth is intentional.
