This individual will support the same core engineering activities currently performed by our California-based team while helping establish and expand our engineering presence within the Roselle manufacturing facility.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through testing, validation, production launch, and ongoing manufacturing support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, solving problems, improving products, and helping build processes and capabilities for the future.Responsibilities and Duties:Research, design, and develop mechanical components and assemblies for bath and sanitary productsCreate detailed 3D models, assemblies, engineering drawings, and specifications using SolidWorksDevelop product concepts and support new product development activities from concept through production launchCreate and maintain BOMs, engineering releases, and technical documentationSupport mold development and tooling design for new productsDesign and build test equipment, gauges, fixtures, and validation setupsConduct first article inspections and testingDevelop test plans, validation reports, and compliance documentationLead product validation efforts including: reliability testing, durability testing, performance testing, flow testingEvaluate and validate products sourced from domestic and international suppliersConduct experiments, analyze results, and present findings to leadershipPartner closely with manufacturing and process engineering teams to ensure product readinessTroubleshoot production and assembly issuesSupport production ramp-up activities for new productsRespond to and resolve internal quality concernsEnsure designs are manufacturable and support efficient production processesTrain and support manufacturing personnel on new products and production processesCompensation: $87,000 + based on experience
