Senior Manager, HR Compliance

Position Summary Leads the development, implementation, and governance of enterprise HR compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across a complex, multi-state workforce. Partners with HR, Legal, and business leaders to identify and mitigate compliance risk and translate regulatory requirements into practical, compliant people practices. Major Tasks and Responsibilities Design, implement, and govern HR compliance programs, policies, and controls to ensure regulatory adherence. Oversee development, execution, and annual reporting of affirmative action plans and support federal contractor compliance requirements, including OFCCP audit readiness and responses in partnership with Legal. Monitor and interpret employment laws and regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable HR policies and processes. Lead and support HR compliance audits, reviews, and investigations, including partnering with Legal and HR leadership to address findings, manage risk, and ensure appropriate resolution and documentation. Establish and maintain HR compliance policies, standard operating procedures, and documentation to support audit readiness and consistent application of employment practices. Provide guidance and consultation to HR and business leaders on compliance requirements, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation strategies. Develop and deliver training and enablement resources to promote understanding and adherence to HR compliance standards across the organization. Support administration of compliance-related tools and programs, including ethics reporting and tracking mechanisms. Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compliance and employee relations. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulatory requirements. Experience supporting affirmative action plans, audits, and regulatory reviews. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders. Work Conditions and Physical Demands Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer or desk. Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment. Occasional lifting/carrying of office materials/boxes up to 25 lbs. Adequate vision and hearing (with or without correction) to read, prepare, and communicate information. Occasional movement, bending, and reaching as needed to perform office tasks or attend meetings. Some travel may be required, including overnight travel.
