Accounts Receivable SpecialistWe are partnering with an established organization in the Alexandria, OH area seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its accounting team. While this position sits within accounts receivable, the primary focus will be on invoicing and billing, including preparing invoices, working within customer billing portals, reviewing supporting documentation, and resolving discrepancies.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed accounting work, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with internal teams to keep the invoicing process moving smoothly.What You'll Be Doing:Prepare, organize, and track invoicing information using Microsoft Excel and the systemCreate and submit customer invoices through various client portals and monitor them throughout the billing lifecycle.Review billing rates, contract requirements, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate invoicing.Research and resolve billing discrepancies while partnering with accounting, project, and operational teams as needed.Enter invoices and credit memos into the accounting system and assist with monthly billing and Work-in-Process reporting.Monitor outstanding billing items, maintain accurate financial records, and provide documentation for audits and other accounting needs.What We're Looking For:At least 4 years of related accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, accounting, or administrative experience.Experience working with invoicing systems, customer billing portals, or accounting/ERP software.Strong attention to detail with the ability to research and resolve discrepancies.Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.Professional written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with other departments.
