Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring strong labor nursing skills and the ability to independently circulate C-sections.

Details

• Work in an LDRP unit that also covers High Risk and Antepartum patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (1900–0730)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Occasional floating to the NICU in a helping hands capacity
• Holiday coverage expected

Requirements

• Active Indiana (IN) or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS and NRP
• Preferred certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Must be able to independently circulate C-sections
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from all facility locations to be eligible

Additional Information

• Strong labor nursing skills are essential, as the primary need is in the labor and delivery area
• Unit also manages high-risk and antepartum patients in addition to standard LDRP cases
• Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, though the unit will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests
• Scrub color required: Seal Blue
• No parking costs associated with this position
