Ultrasound Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 - 17:30, 4 days a week with on-call every 4th Friday and Saturday from 11 PM - 7 AM.

The Ultrasound Technician will provide timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatient individuals under the direction of a Radiologist and department protocols. This role involves conducting a variety of ultrasound examinations, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological and obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
• Conduct small parts ultrasound examinations (throat, breast, and scrotum).
• Assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Maintain a state license as a general radiographer and/or be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Current BLS certification.
