Ultrasound Technologist

Join the Jackson HealthPros team as an Ultrasound Technologist where you'll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer
• BLS Certification
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Proficiency with abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and transvaginal sonograms
• Proficiency scanning small parts including thyroid, breast, and scrotum
• Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1730
• Schedule: 4 days a week
• On-call required every 4th Friday and Saturday from 11p-7a
• Scrub color: Royal Blue

Location Highlights

Odessa offers access to West Texas landmarks and open-air recreation. McKinney Park is located in the city and includes trails and a pond, while Monahans Sandhills State Park is about 35 miles southwest for sand dune hiking and sand surfing. The Ellen Nol Art Museum and the Presidential Museum are both in Odessa, and downtown Midland is about 20 miles east for added dining and entertainment options. Odessa sits along Interstate 20 in a fast-paced regional hub, and Midland International Air and Space Port is about 15 miles away for convenient air travel.
