Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Gynecology and Genitourinary Specialty

Location: Portland, Maine

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts with 1:4 weekend rotation.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team specializing in Gynecology and Genitourinary procedures at our Level One Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise as a CST, providing exceptional patient care and thriving in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in various surgical procedures including Robotics (Da Vinci Xi), PCNLs, Nephrectomy, Ureteral Reimplants, Hysterectomy, Cystectomy, Colpocleisis, Hysteroscopy, and Ureteroscopy.
• Demonstrating proficiency in sterile technique and surgical setups.
• Providing care across diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
• Participating in overnight call for trauma as required, following specialty team schedules if assigned to specific teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a CST in a Level 1 trauma setting.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required.
• Competence in robotic and advanced surgical procedures.
