Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a SPEECH THERAPIST to join our SPEECH THERAPY-Inpatient team!

The Speech Therapist provides diagnosis and treatment for adult patients with communicative, cognitive and dysphagia disorders working in acute care.

HOURS: 1.0 FTE/80 hours every two weeks working Monday-Friday, days, with weekend and holiday coverage as needed based on staffing

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of speech therapy standards and practices normally acquired through a minimum completion of a Master’s Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

• Current Wisconsin Speech-Language Pathology licensure required.

• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire

• Accreditation in area of specialty beneficial.

• Cognitive requirements including a high level of problem solving, reasoning and organization skills, along with excellent reception and expressive skills necessary.
