Advanced clinical care withexceptional patient services Job Description RN House Supervisors– Hospital Operations East Houston Medical Center – Houston & Baytown, Texas Locations East Houston Medical Center is seeking a strong and service‑drivenRN House Supervisors (Days and Nights shifts)– Hospital Operations to provide leadership across nursingservices at our Houston and Baytown locations. This position serves as the primary on‑sitenursing operations leader, supporting clinical excellence, staffingcoordination, patient safety, regulatory readiness, and a high standard ofcompassionate care across the facility. Position Overview The RN House Supervisors – Hospital Operations provides day‑to‑dayleadership and oversight for nursing practice across hospital departments, withclose collaboration with physicians, department leaders, and executiveleadership. This role is responsible for promoting consistent nursingstandards, strengthening team performance, supporting quality outcomes, andensuring smooth nursing operations throughout the Houston and Baytown campus. Key Responsibilities Provideleadership, direction, and support to nursing staff across clinicaldepartments to ensure safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care. Overseestaffing coordination, patient safety regulatory readiness, and unitsupport to maintain effective daily hospital operations. Mentorcharge nurses and frontline nursing leaders, reinforcing accountability,professionalism, and strong clinical judgment. Collaboratewith physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support care coordination,communication, and timely response to patient needs. Monitorquality indicators, nursing performance, and patient care outcomes, andhelp implement improvement initiatives as needed. Supportcompliance with hospital policies, professional nursing standards, andapplicable regulatory and accreditation requirements. Partnerwith leadership in orientation, staff development, engagement, andretention efforts for nursing personnel. Requirements Qualifications Current,unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. BSNrequired; MSN or related graduate degree preferred. Minimumof 5 years of acute care nursing experience, including progressiveleadership responsibility. Strongworking knowledge of hospital operations, nursing standards, patientsafety practices, and team leadership. Excellentcommunication, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills.
