Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility and convenience for your professional and personal life. You will be part of an outpatient office structure that ensures consistent, high-quality care while maintaining a work-life balance. Your standard working hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to focus on your clients during peak business hours.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, integrating standardized evaluation tools as needed.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate individualized treatment plans that align with their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to address mood disorders and promote effective coping strategies.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and encouraging healthy lifestyle choices.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout the treatment process, adapting plans to ensure effective care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and medical staff to guarantee comprehensive treatment and integration of services for clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment and participating in clinical case consultations and team meetings.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders. You will work closely with a diverse clientele comprising adults from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by each patient. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with a proven success record in treating mood disorders, as well as prior experience in outpatient or clinical settings, will be prioritized. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and experience working in remote settings can enhance your candidacy.
