Job Title Litigation Legal Secretary Job Details Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year Dallas based litigation law firm is seeking an experienced legal secretary to join its Austin office. The successful candidate will have a strong background in litigation, specifically in insurance defense, and will be well‑versed in calendaring and e‑filing. Benefits Competitive Base Salary! Extremely Competitive Benefits Package including health, dental, vision insurance; PTO and paid holidays, 401(k) Responsibilities Providing comprehensive secretarial support to our team of attorneys, including drafting and editing legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Managing complex calendars, scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines. Handling e-filing of court documents in a timely and accurate manner. Assisting with case management, including tracking and managing deadlines. Coordinating with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. Maintaining client files and case materials in an organized and up-to-date manner. Qualifications A minimum of 5 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably within litigation and insurance defense. Proficient in calendaring and e‑filing, with a strong understanding of court filing systems and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
