Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions via imaging studies and lab result analysis
• Work in close collaboration with surgeons on tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative support, preparing surgical areas and managing the surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Offer outstanding preoperative and postoperative care, which includes administering medications, wound management, discharge planning, and conducting educational sessions for patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Applicable state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

• Strong understanding of surgical protocols and aseptic procedures
