As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity using computer or tablet systems, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 06:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access‑control records in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report unusual activity, access‑control issues, and potential hazards while maintaining a professional presence in a fast‑paced distribution environment. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
