Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel. Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
