Personal Care Attendant (PCA) - San Jose, California

At My Friends Pediatric Day Healthcare Center , we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to children with special needs. As a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) , you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our pediatric patients.
About the Role:
As a PCA, you will provide direct patient care including, but not limited to:
Oral feedings, diaper changes, positioning, transfers, and assisting clients in participating in independent and group activities
Work primarily Monday/Wednesday/Thursdays 10:30am-7pm or 1pm-7pm and one-two weekend shifts per month. Shift times vary.
Competitive Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate: $18.00-$19.00 depending on experience

Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, walk, bend, and reach as needed to perform patient care and/or transfer of patient
Ability to communicate effectively with other staff, patients, and families
Current CPR certificate
Caregiving experience preferred
