You'll provide intervention for a diverse caseload of 35-40 students, addressing a wide range of needs, with a focus on supporting students on the autism spectrum. Collaborate closely with educators and families to create individualized therapy plans and help students succeed in their daily school activities.

Our part-time opportunity features flexible hours (12-15 per week) in a single school buildingideal for professionals seeking work-life balance or a supplementary role. Scheduling can be adapted around your availability, allowing meaningful engagement with students without compromising your personal commitments.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level
• Knowledge or background in serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and various developmental/learning needs
• Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities include:

• Administering assessments and implementing evidence-based OT interventions
• Developing and tracking individualized goals for students
• Consulting with educators and parents to support classroom participation and skill growth
• Documenting services and progress in compliance with school requirements
• Promoting independence and well-being for each child on your caseload
