Your Impact

Pearce is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing heavy commercial rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, air handlers, large DX split systems, and boilers for telecom customers including Lumen. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the HVAC industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Central mountains or Western slope, Colorado area.

Core Responsibilities

• Maintaining heavy commercial rooftop units (RTU's), chillers, large air handlers, large DX split systems, and boilers diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems on Lumen sites.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on commercial rooftop units up to 50 tons (RTU's), chillers up to 150 tons, large air handlers, and boilers.
• Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment including.
• Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.
• Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.

Core Experience

• Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).
• 3+ years of experience with Lumen HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.

• Candidates should reside in the Central mountains or Western slope, Colorado area.
• Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.
• Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.
• Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides $50 per diem/per night.
• Driving to remote work sites as needed.
• Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
• Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).
• May need to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

Compensation: Starting at $62,400 up to $122,000 annual salary/DOE

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may also be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation. Base Pay Range

$30 - $47 USD
