It is more than 10 times as efficient as a gas boat its size, and it boasts the longest range of any electric boat on the market. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery of components, and efficient inventory practices, all of which are vital to our production and growth objectives. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing & Procurement: Source and procure Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) components, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards. Vendor Management: Conduct thorough vendor cost analyses to identify and engage the most cost-effective and reliable suppliers. Subcontract Oversight: Negotiate and manage supplier contracts to ensure alignment with company objectives and timelines. Inventory Control: Implement and maintain inventory management systems to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory. Logistics Coordination: Optimize shipping and logistics processes to reduce costs and ensure timely delivery of materials. Part Kitting: Develop and manage part kitting processes to streamline production workflows. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the manufacturing or maritime industries. Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct cost analyses and optimize procurement strategies. Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities. Proficiency in inventory management software and tools. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
