Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a full-time, onsite contract opportunity supporting students in a school setting for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the chance to work closely in a one-on-one caseload, providing essential health and wellness support to students. Key Qualifications:
- Valid LPN/LVN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, educators, and parents
- Ability to work independently while following care protocols and school policies
- Flexibility and empathy to support individual student needs
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one nursing care to students in accordance with healthcare plans and physician’s orders
- Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and provide emergency care as needed
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with student’s medical records and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to support student health and success
- Participate in care team meetings and contribute to updates for individualized student care plans
- Promote a safe, healthy learning environment
