Overview Lead the strategic development, execution and implementation of tactics and programs aimed at achieving customer objectives, Key Performance Indicators, and targets in a manner that will achieve profitable long-term growth. Primary Responsibilities Lead the strategic develop and optimization of Key Performance Indicators aimed at driving brand strategies through our Sales and Business Development function Ensure brand success via leadership selling against trade channels and actively supporting the selling efforts of sales reps, district managers, and key account specialists within the wholesaler Direct the design, planning, and implementation of new and existing marketing initiatives that align with customer goals Develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results Lead all parts of the sales process including targeting appropriate accounts, lead selling, education and positioning brands for success within the account Monitor field implementation and execution of programs within assigned accounts to ensure product pricing and promotion Additional Primary Responsibilities Regularly interact with field management for updating programming and brand priorities, brand standards and best practices leading to successful execution in the market Provide detailed tracking reports of wholesaler performance against agreed-to supplier objectives Work with key assigned teams to deliver monthly goals (work-withs, product training samples, etc.) Create, coordinate, and attend on-site promotional functions at established customer accounts (e.g., winemaker dinners, product launches, and tastings Perform other job-related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience 7 Years of supplier management experience in the wine & spirits industry 5+ years experience leading large teams and coaching/developing to ensure top performance Must be at least 21 years of age Physical Demands Physical demands with activity or condition for a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include a rare amount of time walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting and stooping Critical nature of this job may require extended hours, overtime, and weekends May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs EEO Statement Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits, an Affidative Action/EEO employer, prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type and provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
