Position Title Support Specialist Location Winter Park, FL 32789 - Winter Park Campus Job Type Staff – Part‑Time Schedule Monday‑Friday 12:00PM‑5:00PM (hours subject to change) Pay $16.25 per hour Responsibilities Performs general clerical and reception duties; greets and directs walk‑ins. Answers telephone, refers calls, and takes messages for department staff. Performs basic data entry and types correspondence as directed by supervisor. Operates standard office equipment to perform tasks. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum six (6) months experience in a customer service or clerical position. Ability to organize and prioritize assignments. Ability to interact effectively with others. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Ability to use a personal computer and office equipment. Basic keyboarding skills. Working Conditions This job primarily operates in a professional office environment. The employee will routinely use standard office equipment including computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Noise level is usually quiet to moderate. Typical physical requirements include frequent standing and occasional lifting of objects weighing 5‑15 pounds. The job also includes frequent communication, discretion, judgment, reasoning, memory, learning, confidentiality, comprehension, problem solving, and decision‑making.
