Job Summary


Snelling Staffing Services is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Escrow Assistant for one of Lubbock's premier, longest-standing, and most respected title companies. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an experienced team with an exceptional reputation for professionalism, integrity, and customer service throughout the South Plains.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong administrative and computer skills, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment. Previous experience in escrow, title, mortgage, banking, real estate, legal, or administrative support is preferred, but candidates with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


• Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone.
• Assist Escrow Officers with administrative duties related to residential and commercial real estate closings.
• Open new escrow orders and establish closing files.
• Prepare closing documents, settlement statements, and closing packages.
• Coordinate closing requirements with buyers, sellers, lenders, REALTORS®, and other parties.
• Review earnest money contracts and communicate title requirements and exceptions.
• Process escrow disbursements, transmittals, and post-closing documentation.
• Maintain pre-closing and post-closing files while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform quality control reviews, vesting verification, and mortgage documentation checks.
• Research title issues, liens, judgments, and chain of title when necessary.
• Prepare documents for recording in accordance with company procedures and legal requirements.
• Provide administrative support to the Escrow Department while maintaining strict confidentiality.


Qualifications


• Previous experience in escrow, title, mortgage, banking, real estate, legal, or administrative support preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
