Performance Ford of Somerville is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warranty Administrator to join our team in Somerville, NJ. The ideal candidate will manage and process warranty claims efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely reimbursement while supporting our service department operations. This role is critical in maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers and optimizing warranty-related processes to contribute to the dealership's overall success.
Responsibilities

• Process and submit warranty claims to manufacturers accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review warranty documentation and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Communicate with service technicians, parts department, and manufacturers to resolve warranty discrepancies.
• Track and follow up on outstanding warranty claims to ensure prompt payment.
• Maintain and update warranty records and reports.
• Assist in training service staff on warranty procedures and requirements.
• Support the service department with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive warranty administration or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Ford warranty policies and procedures is an advantage.
