Kitchen Team Leader

Position Type: Full-time Our Benefits Include: A fun work environment where you can positively influence others Flexible scheduling (and closed on Sundays) Learning first‑hand from an experienced Operator and Restaurant Leaders Intentional growth and development to help you reach your professional goals Scholarship opportunities Competitive pay Back of House Team Leader Responsibilities: Uphold highest level of food safety standards Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep Stock kitchen inventory as needed Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up‑to‑date on any changes Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times Participating operationally in day‑to‑day activities in high‑volume, fast‑paced Restaurant Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team Be a friendly, encouraging team player Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Exceptional leadership ability Exceptional interpersonal relationship skills Exceptional communication skills Strong computer skills Strong organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Competitive Drive Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues Ability to work in a team environment with shared ownership and responsibility Takes Initiative Committed to being a positive impact on team members and guests Reliable transportation Works well independently and in a team environment Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 40-55 lbs on a regular basis Have the ability to stand for long periods of time Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
