Plumbing Estimator – Construction (Mid to Senior Level) We are hiring a Plumbing Estimator to support preconstruction efforts on a range of commercial, multifamily, and institutional building projects. This role focuses on developing accurate cost estimates, defining project scope, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive and well-structured bids. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with standard daytime hours. Key Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and project scope to develop accurate estimates Perform detailed takeoffs using estimating software Prepare cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and subcontractors for pricing and scope clarification Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities Maintain and update unit cost databases and vendor pricing Assist with bid preparation and submission Qualifications 3+ years of plumbing estimating or relevant field experience Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and applicable codes Experience with estimating tools such as Quotesoft, Accubid, or similar Advanced Excel skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and identify scope gaps Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail Compensation is commensurate with experience, typically in the $60K–$90K range.
