We are BUILT FOR THE WILD.YETI is seeking a Senior IT Project and Portfolio Manager to partner with diverse Technology teams across the organization as we implement and operate best‑in‑class program and project management practices.This role will lead and deliver large, complex Information Technology initiatives and will be directly accountable for key project and program outcomes. The Senior IT Project and Portfolio Manager is responsible for managing complex, cross‑functional technology programs that span multiple workstreams, systems, and business stakeholders. Operating with a high degree of autonomy and influence, this role translates strategic objectives into executable delivery plans while ensuring alignment with YETI’s business priorities.The ideal candidate is an experienced program leader with strong executive‑level communication skills, disciplined delivery execution, and the ability to drive results in a fast‑paced, brand‑driven environment.They bring hands‑on experience in at least one area of technical solutioning—such as software development, data lifecycle management, or system administration—enabling effective partnership with engineering and technology teams.We are looking for a team member with six or more years of experience working within program or project management role. An Agile mindset is essential, along with demonstrated competency in traditional waterfall project management methodologies. The successful candidate will closely partner with Information Technology teams and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of YETI’s delivery frameworks, tools, and methodologies.Responsibilities:Lead large‑scale, multi‑year IT programs and highly complex projects involving multiple teams, vendors, and business functionsOwn end‑to‑end delivery accountability, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and qualityDevelop and maintain integrated program plans, dependencies, milestones, and critical pathsProactively identify and manage risks, issues, and trade‑offs; escalate with clear options and recommendationsServe as the primary point of contact for senior business and technology stakeholdersFacilitate executive‑level steering meetings, status reviews, and decision forumsTranslate business strategy into actionable delivery roadmaps and measurable outcomesApply and continuously improve YETI’s IT PMO delivery frameworks, tools, and governance standardsEnsure compliance with enterprise policies related to security, data, architecture, and change managementMentor and coach project managers on best practices, risk management, and stakeholder communicationDrive lessons‑learned, retrospectives, and delivery maturity improvementsIdentify opportunities to simplify processes, improve transparency, and accelerate time to valueQualifications and Attributes:Bachelor’s degree in STEM field or equivalent experience required8+ years of experience managing enterprise-level IT projects within a PMOStrong command of both Agile and Waterfall methodologiesPMP, Prince2, Six Sigma, or similar certificationExperience in Retail, Supply Chain, or Consumer Goods preferredFamiliarity with ERP (SAP), CRM (Salesforce), eCommerce (Commerce Cloud) platforms, and integration solutions (Boomi)Experience with project and portfolio management tools (Asana, Jira, Azure DevOps)Familiarity with Organizational Change Management frameworks (Prosci)Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsA collaborative mindset and passion for knowledge sharingBased in Austin, TX at our HQ off Southwest Parkway.
