Business Analyst
Duration: 6+ Months (Possible extension) Location: New York, NY 10286 Onsite Role (4 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Studies and Analyses Related to transition from Pool?Level to Loan?Level Mortgage?Backed Securities (MBS) Program.
- Assessing an enterprise?wide transition from a pool?level Mortgage?Backed Securities (MBS) program to a loan?level MBS program.
- This shift has broad implications for operational processes, technology architecture, data management, and the responsibilities as the Pool Processing Agent (PPA) Central Paying and Transfer Agent (CPTA) under the MBS Issuance and Bond Administration (MBSIBA) contract.
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, operations, product, or project delivery
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC ways of working
- Experience with requirement documentation and stakeholder engagement
- Business and process skills

- Operating model understanding
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, technology, operations, or related field
- MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Jira & Confluence
- Visio or Lucidchart
- SQL
- Tableau / Power BI preferred

- Financial services or banking experience
- User story writing
- Acceptance criteria definition
- UAT support
- Change impact assessment
- Agile / Scrum familiarity
