Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Interventional Radiology setting, supporting a wide range of radiologic and vascular procedures
• Assist with procedures including port placements, Y-90 treatments, liver and abdominal biopsies, deep bone biopsies, G-tube placements, CVC placement/removal/replacement, PCN placement, and IVC filter placement/removal
• Administer and monitor sedation medications including Versed, Fentanyl, and Dilaudid, as well as antibiotics, in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Care for oncology and vascular patient populations undergoing specialized radiologic interventions including MRI scans and adrenal vein sampling
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition

Required Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures nursing
• Proficiency with moderate/conscious sedation administration and monitoring
• Familiarity with vascular access procedures and radiologic interventional techniques
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for oncology patients undergoing interventional procedures such as Y-90 radioembolization
• Familiarity with MRI safety protocols and MRI-compatible patient care practices
• Experience with CVC management and central line care
