Technical Business Analyst

Callibrity is based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is a full-time hybrid (Cincinnati) role. Will not consider non-US based candidates.

We are currently seeking aTechnical Business Analyst to join our team, with a focus on driving technical clarity, process improvement, and collaboration within the Producer domain. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical aptitude with excellent stakeholder communication and the ability to challenge the status quo.

• Work directly with key stakeholders at our clients to accomplish shared goals
• Communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing

• Act as a technical business analyst, not focused on front-end systems but with a deep understanding of data and backend technical processes.
• Performhands-on data analysis, including querying and interpreting complex data using SQL.
• Understand and documentdata flows, and business rules at the data level.
• Utilize tools such asPostman to explore and run API payloads.
• Support QA by analyzing and comparing payloads (payload diffing) and ensuring requirements are testable.
• Step into apseudo-Product Owner role when needed, advocating for business priorities and clarifying requirements.
• Foster and support acollaborative culture, bringing energy, accountability, and innovation to the team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong command ofSQL and experience working directly with data systems and flows.
• Familiarity with tools such asPostman for API interaction.
• Proven experience indocumenting business rules at a granular level.
• Demonstrated ability to supportQA teams through requirement validation and data verification.
• Assertive and proactive communicator — not afraid to challenge norms and propose improvements.
• Experience collaborating withdevelopers, QA, and external vendors.
• Ability to quickly understand domain complexity and align efforts to broader business and technical goals.
