Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in respiratory care and demonstrate exceptional clinical skills in a variety of settings.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and perform diagnostic tests for patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess patients' respiratory conditions and document all relevant data accurately.
• Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory therapy procedures and home care management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain and operate respiratory care equipment safely and effectively.
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• Certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
• Must hold a valid Ohio RRT license at the time of application.
• Availability to work weekends as needed and willingness to float to various locations within the region.
• Ability to communicate all scheduling requests and relevant time-off information clearly during the application and interview process.

Work Schedule

This position requires working night shifts comprising three 12-hour periods per week. Flexibility regarding scheduling is essential.
