Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef for a high-volume, upscale restaurant in Raleigh. This is an opportunity to join a growing restaurant group with a strong scratch-kitchen culture, an elevated food and beverage program, and excellent opportunities for continued development.

What You'll Do

Lead daily BOH execution in a high-volume scratch kitchen
Maintain strong standards for food quality, consistency and presentation
Coach, train and develop culinary team members
Manage ordering, inventory, pars and waste
Support food and labor cost goals
Assist with BOH scheduling and staffing
Maintain strong sanitation, food safety and kitchen organization
Partner closely with the Executive Chef and FOH leadership
Lead calmly and effectively through high-volume services

What We're Looking For

Recent Sous Chef experience in upscale, polished casual or fine dining
Experience in a high-volume, scratch-kitchen environment
Stable and progressive work history
Strong knowledge of food cost, labor, inventory, ordering and waste control
Proven ability to train and develop kitchen teams
Hands-on leadership style with high standards and strong follow-through
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
Culinary school or formal culinary training is a plus
Ability to complete up to 10 weeks of out-of-market training
