In Home Family Services Consultant

Provide in-home support and teach practical skills to strengthen families Help families build stronger relationships, develop parenting skills, and overcome challenges Connect families with schools, healthcare, social services, and other community resources Provide crisis intervention and guidance Build relationships with families and collaborate with teachers, doctors, social workers, and other professionals Develop service plans, monitor progress, and maintain accurate documentation Facilitate family decision-making meetings Pursue or support certification as a Parenting Instructor Serve as a role model reflecting Boys Town’s mission and values Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor Requirements Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field 1 year of experience working with children and families Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and on-call hours Bilingual skills are a plus Ability to perform duties requiring sufficient strength, agility, and endurance during stressful physical, mental, and emotional situations Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments, including outside weather conditions and homes with substandard living conditions and domestic pets Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing in-home support and teaching practical skills to families, with a focus on building relationships and facilitating access to community resources.
