Lead Teacher Needed in the Bronx!
Kindergarten Classroom - Ages 3-4
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Bronx, NY
Bond Health Staffing is seeking a Lead Teacher for a kindergarten classroom serving children ages 3-4 at a Bronx early childhood program. The Lead Teacher will provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment; design and implement curriculum; and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Key Responsibilities
Interact with children frequently, affectionately, respectfully, and at the child's developmental level.
Observe children's interests and needs, maintain safety, and support learning through language, toys, and activities.
Encourage and model developmentally appropriate social behavior and use positive discipline techniques.
Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum based on observations and assessments of individual children.
Create a classroom environment responsive to children's developmental, physical, emotional, and current interests.
Provide materials and activities that foster social skills, problem-solving, questioning, experimentation, and independent learning.
Plan child-oriented, self-initiated activities and maintain flexibility based on children's interests.
Document children's development and accomplishments through anecdotal notes, documentation panels, and/or portfolios.
Communicate with families regarding children's development and classroom activities while maintaining confidentiality.
Participate in family conferences and share appropriate resources with families.
Maintain all health and safety requirements, supervise children at all times, maintain accurate attendance, and complete required paperwork.
Required Qualifications
NYS Teaching Certification (Birth-2nd Grade), OR
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field may qualify without currently holding NYS Teaching Certification.
Must meet applicable DOH/DOE requirements, including any required study plan and mandatory training.

Bronx, NY
Classroom: Kindergarten / ages 3-4
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
