Quality Supervisor

A well-established industrial machinery manufacturer is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead and develop its Quality team. This individual will serve as the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring that products meet rigorous quality standards while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a technically strong quality professional with manufacturing experience and a passion for building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team consisting of:

2 Day Quality Inspectors

1 Final Quality Inspector

1 Measurement/Material Controller

1 Night Quality Inspector

Oversee daily quality operations in a CNC machining environment

Ensure compliance with ISO standards and quality management systems

Manage PPAP submissions and quality process documentation

Interpret complex blueprints and geometric tolerances

Program and operate CMM and FARO arm equipment

Utilize precision measurement tools including OD/ID micrometers, calipers, and profilometers

Apply statistical analysis to quality metrics and reporting

Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions

Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

Delegate tasks, manage time effectively, and support team development

Provide weekend coverage when necessary to support high-priority production

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree (Engineering, Mathematics, or related field preferred)

Minimum 5 years of relevant manufacturing quality experience

Experience in a CNC machining environment

Formal ISO training and quality systems knowledge

Strong understanding of PPAP and quality documentation processes

CMM programming and operation experience

Proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Strong mathematical and analytical skills

Leadership or management training/experience

Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

High integrity, professionalism, and strong character

Preferred Qualifications

NDT Level II (limited) certification

Experience in industrial equipment manufacturing

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Occasional weekend coverage as needed
